Last Term the kiwi class heard about te arrival of the Kev the Kiwi to our room.  They were very excited and decided to find out facts about the Kiwi Bird. The drew pictures on KidPix and recorded a fact about the Kiwi to make a photostory. Take a look. Do you know any other facts you could share with us?

Introducing Kev

Kev is a Kiwi.  He likes to travel and visit students, schools and even other countries.  Kev is 2 years old.  Kiwi are one of the most interesting birds in the world.  Kev is very clever and likes to learn new things.  Kiwis are flightless birds and they are native to New Zealand.  Kev has a long yellow beak, big strong yellow feet and brown feathers.  He has very small wings.  When Kev comes to visit your class or home he will bring a book that explains how Kiwis catch their food even though they can't fly.
What else would you like to know about Kev? Feel free to ask us any questions.
